I can’t believe it. This plot is getting thicker than hardened concrete. And it has Raven! And something to do with Lloyd Allen! I could not be more psyched.

This is amazing. How much of this did you have planned when you made Dolls of New Albion? You can’t be writing all of this by the seat of your pants.

It’s so good. I love how it hangs all these loose ends and unanswered questions from all over right in front of us but never fully resolving anything. It brings up more questions than it answers, if act 3 resolves even half these questions it’s going to be insane.

Paul, I love you so much.

Okay to elaborate more: I can’t truly express how much I love you and your work, the diverse sets of characters, the wonderful build up of your longer pieces and just how amazing everything sounds is a true wonder, thank you.

So. This is far more perfect than I ever could have expected, even after preparing to be for like a year. I’m screaming? You. did. so. utterly. great. Thanks so much for existing.

This album is amazing.
(SPOILERS): Lloyd? And the AIs? And Raven? (I appreciate the deja vu reference to the Fallen as well…) And I was right in my guess that the new female singer would be playing Shira, but I had no idea quite what the context of her presence would be.
I must say that I was initially surprised by how… *not* bombastic much of the music is given that it’s the Raven and all… but it makes sense in context, and there’s this curious ethereal quality to a lot of the instrumentation that I’ll have to give the album a few more listens to to really grasp.
On my first listen, I’d say that the weak point was the second tunnel girl song (something about the lyrical flow just didn’t click with me), and the high point was “Tour Our Grounds”… though I also absolutely loved all of the references to various songs (by yourself and others) in “See Our Show”. It gives Raven that great sort of manic-multiple-personalities vibe that he had in “Byzantine Blue” but in a somewhat more subtle way.
And again… Lloyd! I never thought there’d be any more mention of him. And I was *just asking* about the mountains in the west, and here they are getting another mention.
Well, suffice it to say, I’ll be listening to this one for a good long while, and now I am seriously looking forward to part 3. No rush though! These things take time. Honestly, I’m amazed at how much music you put out as it is. I only found out about your work a bit under three years ago, and since then there’s been four new albums (one of which was a double album) plus the release of Shadows & Flames… *and* you’re keeping the quality up while you do so.
Bravo, sir. Bravo.

And the prize for the best medley/reprisal mix has been clutched from The Rescue Plan.
Congratulations, See Our Show. You’re perfect. You’re beautiful. You look like Linda Evangelista.
Also the prize for best line+delivery is now a tie between Uncle Raven and Timothy, with “God DAMMIT, HELEN” shared with “Oh my GAWD, I love the teddy bears”. Raven, meet Tim. Dude fucked a Slenderman once. Stop squirming, Tim, you can both fit on that throne. Raven has even offered his lap.

Congratulations, my good sir. You just out did yourself once more. And ruined my ‘Lloyd is an AI’ theory, but it’s still great.
