Let us talk about the Dolls of new Albion US premiere in Philadelphia this September. And how you can help it to exist and be awesome.

Yes i know, my presence on the blog is lacking. But i assure you, all i do in life is work on the The Slender Man Opera (50 minutes of it exists thus far) and take care of my children. That is my life. I work ceaselessly to bring you the next goodie.

However that is not why we’re here today. The Indiegogo campaign to fund the Dolls of New Albion production has officially begun AND if they go OVER their goal, THEY WILL SEND ME TO AMERICA TO ATTEND IT.

It would be nice to come to the show, sa sa? (Expanse series, anyone? Totally reading the latest installment). Why would you not want help this production go up and have me attend? WHY WOULD YOU NOT WANT THAT? WHAT KIND OF MONSTER ARE YOU?!?!?!

This is the first US show of Dolls and thus far, the biggest and boldest production of the steampunk opera yet mounted.

I am VERY interested and excited to see this production. Help it. Help this one. Please. If it grows from here, it could one day come to your city and seduce your children into a life of dancing with the dead.

There are all kinds of perks including a professionally shot DVD of the performance. Take a gander and please, help this one go up. Today Philly, tomorrow…. the WORLD.

Hey you guys, this is my friend Paul’s show. WE NEEDS IT IN THE U.S!

This is his post re: how that can be made possible…

Been in love with New Albion since just the first act of The Dolls Of New Albion was up, it is so exciting to finally have a chance (through the power of digital copy) to see it performed, and I’ll definitely be plugging this to everyone I know.

$1,125 raised in 19 days is pretty damn poor. They set a very tall bar for something they’re not going to try and properly advertise.

A pity. I threw fifty bucks at it and shared it where I could, but that’s just about all I can do…

It’s still going up and i’m still going to see it as i’ll be in PA then. And i certainly hope it’s a great performance. Many folks will see it.

I wonder if donators will have some way to approach the show. I would love to see it.

Pity, it closed before I knew it existed. D:
