Picking Tracks For The Sampler

17 Oct

Well now.

We have thus covered all 10 tracks. We have been dazzled and delighted by the sultry Kayleigh McKnight, the astonishing Lauren Osborn, and the riveting Jason Broderick. We need to pick 5 for a Steampunk Opera Sampler. The 1st Act will stand as its own sampler, but songs from it are still in the running for the 2nd sampler.

I am open to outside opinions and indeed welcome it. Most opinions will come through email correspondence, but if anyone reading this blog has any opinions, a song they strongly feel should be included, a suggestion of which 5 songs or even just 2 or 3, please do not hesitate to leave a comment or email me at paulms@gmail.com

To recap, our choices are:

New Albion 1

Annebelle Raises The Dead

Annabelle Has A Doll

Annabelle’s Lament

We Bid The 1st Generation Adieu

Edgar Starts A Business

Voodoopunks

Lost Night’s Lullabye

The Day They Come

Bring You Down

(note, Bring You Down WILL be mixed better as of tomorrow)

From this list, 5 must be chosen. Any opinions? Anyone? Bueller?

If you glace to your right at Recent Posts all 10 are there if you need to review any.

Definitely New Albion 1 and Annabelle’s lament. And then possibly The Day They Come and Bring You Down. And then I’m torn about a fifth

I have been humming New Albion in my head for two weeks…I think that is a good sign.
