For all you classic rock fans, this is a gem of a story recounted about when Eric Clapton, at the height of his Cream fame, met a young noboby name Jimi Hendrix.

    Everything Rock knows about the guitar after 1970 came from his psychedelic twisting of what the instrument could do.     I once did a project on hendrix in college, and read in a biography this great account by ginger baker about being at an early hendrix show at the bag of bricks in london and going into the bathroom, where he ran into brian jones from the rolling stones, who said to him, “have you been up to the front? it’s all wet up there.”
    “All wet?”
    “Yeah… from all the guitar players crying…”
